Kinry Road Elementary School

The school nurse will perform the NY State mandated screenings if no recent documentation is received from the student's private physician.

• 5th Grade: I will begin vision, hearing, and scoliosis screening on this year's 5th graders in October.
• 4th Grade: I will begin vision, hearing, height, weight, BMI assessment, and blood pressure screening, as well as scheduling physical exams (any of the previously mentioned items that have not resently been completed by a private practitioner and presented to my office) in November.
• 6th Grade: I will begin scoliosis screening as well as presenting an introduction to the district sports physical process beginning in January.

YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED IN WRITING OF ANY ABNORMALITIES ASSESSED DURING YOUR CHILD'S SCREENING.
