Kinry Families,

It is with great pleasure that I write to welcome you and your student(s) to the 2025-26 school year at Kinry Road Elementary School.  I, along with the faculty and staff, am extremely excited to have you with us this year.  We would like to welcome back returning students and families along with the new families to our school.  This letter contains important information about the start of the school year and is intended to help you with the transition from summer.

The first official day for all students is September 4, 2025.

Families, please be patient the first few mornings of school as bus pick up is typically slow during the first days as drivers learn their routes and the students who will ride along with them.  Students drop-off in the morning begins at 8:15am.   Please do not drive into the bus lane to drop off students.  All students should be dropped off in the loop at the end of the sidewalk.Students dropped off between 8:15 and 8:25 will remain in the cafeteria before the start of the school day. 

The school day begins at 8:25 am and ends at 3:25 pm.

In the afternoon, students who are being picked up will be called to the cafeteria at 3:05 pm.  As in the past, students who are being picked up will be dismissed from the Cafeteria Door.  Please remember that you will need to show ID in order to pick up your student.  If your student will be picked up every day please utilize the permanent pick-up note that can be found on our website.  Students who ride vans or buses will board as their buses arrive. 

If you have had a phone number change or are using a new email, please take a few minutes to call the main office so that we may update our records.

If you are the parent of a 6^th grader please make sure that you have submitted all Tdap information to our school nurse.  6^th graders are required to have this immunization in order to attend school.  If you have questions please contact our school nurse.

School breakfast and lunch is available everyday.  Free and reduced-price lunch applications can be found on our website.

·         Parents as Partners Nights will be on Sept. 16th for All Grades.

Grades 3 and 4 will host from 6:00 pm- 6:45 pm.

                         Grades 5 and 6 will host from 7:00 pm – 7:45 pm.

If you are attending the early session please considerate to parents attending the late session as parking on our campus is extremely limited.

·         Over the first few days of school your student will be coming home with lots of paperwork to review, please do your best to return forms to us as soon as possible.

·         If your student rides or walks to school please be sure to turn in the appropriate permission form which can be found on our website.

Please Review the Student Forms Section of our Website.  It contains information that needs to be completed and returned in a timely manner.
